Dear Parents/Carers,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am delighted to inform you that your child will be performing in our winter showcase ‘Tales by the Mantlepiece.’ Since last term, the students have been hard at work rehearsing dances, learning songs and devising acting pieces. We are excited to provide this fantastic opportunity to showcase their considerable talents and introduce the stars of our new musical!
The performance will take place on Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th December, commencing at 6pm. Wednesday night will feature performances from Bligh Primary while Thursday night will showcase our very own Year 10 and 11 Performing Arts students.
We kindly request that you ensure your child arrives at school by 5pm. This will allow sufficient time for them to prepare and set up for the performance, ensuring that everything is in place for a wonderful evening. Please complete the attached Google Form to confirm your child’s participation.
Tickets for the event are available for purchase at a price of £3 each, and can be easily purchased via Parent Pay. Please make sure you check you have purchased tickets for the right performance! We encourage you to secure your tickets early to avoid disappointment, as we anticipate a high demand for what promises to be two memorable evenings. Tickets will not be available to purchase on the door so please do make your payments on Parent Pay in advance to ensure entry.
This year refreshments will be provided by the PTFA. If you would like to purchase something, this will be a cash only event. We are also offering the chance to buy a programme for £1. These will be under a separate payment on Parent Pay and must be reserved in advance. There will be a collection point for purchased programmes in the restaurant on arrival. All money will go towards the funding of our Spring Musical which this year is Mary Poppins.
