Dear Parents and Carers, 18 November 2025
RE: Parent Voice Forum – Module 2 Forum, Inclusion.
We extend a sincere thank you to all parents and carers who attended our Module 1 Parent Voice Forum on Homework and Attendance. Your contributions were invaluable, and we are actively using your feedback to refine our strategies in these critical areas.
The Parent Voice Forum is a vital platform designed to foster a powerful, open partnership between you and the school. Your insights are not just welcome—they are instrumental in helping us collaboratively shape a truly enriching and supportive educational experience for every student.
For our upcoming Module 2 Forum, the central theme will be Inclusion. We are delighted to be joined by Vice Principal, Ms. Lindsay, and our Senior SENCo, Mrs. Ward. They will present the academy’s work and strategies regarding inclusion and will be available to answer your questions.
Here are the dates for this year’s forums, all of which will run from 18:00 to 19:00:
- Module 2: Tuesday, 16th December 2025 – Inclusion
- Module 3: Tuesday, 10th February 2026 – Behaviour and Communication
- Module 4: Tuesday, 31st March 2026 – Teaching and Learning and MYP
- Module 5: Tuesday, 19th May 2026 – Rewards / Enrichment / Strood in the Community
- Module 6: Tuesday, 14th July 2026 – Full Review
What to expect from this forum?
In this module 2 forum, our school’s dedicated SENCOs (Special Educational Needs Coordinators) will provide an essential overview of our inclusive practices, highlighting how we ensure every child thrives in a supportive learning environment. This session is a fantastic opportunity to understand the range of support available in school and, crucially, to learn about the clear, structured process for raising a concern about a child’s possible SEND. Your voice is important in this partnership, and we encourage you to join us to learn more.
