Welcome to Leigh Academy Strood.
I hope this letter finds you well. We are looking forward to our students returning next week and wish to provide you with important information regarding the start to the new academic year.
As previously shared in Module 6, below are the arrangements for our pupils’ return:
Monday, 1st September:
- Year 7
- Year 11
- Year 12
- Year 13
Tuesday, 2nd September:
- Year 8
- Year 9
- Year 10
It is important to note that the academy gates will open at 8:00am and close at 8:30am. To ensure a smooth start to the day, please make sure your child arrives before the gates close, allowing ample time for them to proceed to their assigned college line-up areas.
As we transition into the new academic year, I encourage you to engage with your child regarding their preparations. Ensuring that they have their uniform and necessary equipment ready ahead of time will help alleviate any potential stress on the first few days. Moreover, establishing a positive daily routine can significantly contribute to a seamless transition back into school life, fostering good habits that will support their learning and personal development.
