Dear Parents and Carers,
I am pleased to inform you of an exciting opportunity. At Leigh Academy Strood we recognise the huge benefit a child gains from learning a musical instrument and offer this to students at the academy.
We are proud to have excellent and enthusiastic visiting music teachers who are offering instrumental lessons in the following: drums, guitar, piano, violin, and vocals. Our instrumental teachers will be able to support students through their musical journey no matter whether they are beginner or advanced.
Instrument lessons will take place during the school day, in one of the department’s practice rooms. Every lesson will be tailored to each individual student based on their ability and knowledge of the instrument. A timetable will be posted on the department notice board to inform students of the time of their lesson.
