Dear Parents/Carers,
We are excited to be able to offer Year 8 students the opportunity to visit Warner Brothers Studio in London to participate in an interactive English lesson, followed by a tour of the studio itself. This trip will be held on Tuesday 23rd June 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for students to develop their understanding of how magical creatures are described, designed and created for films and novels. In addition, this would link the text they will be studying at this time named ‘A Monster Calls’.
We will travel to and from the studio by minibus, leaving at 9.00am. Students must wear their usual full school uniform. Please ensure your child is provided with a home packed lunch and bottle of water. If your child is eligible for a free school meal and you would like a packed lunch provided by Cucina, please email info@strood.latrust.org.uk by Friday 28th November 2025 to place an order. We are aiming to return to the school by 5pm, traffic permitting.

The non-refundable cost of the trip will be £54.88 payable via ParentPay. Places for this trip are limited to 30 students and will be based on a first come first serve basis.
