Dear Parents and Carers
We are excited to offer your child the opportunity to take part in a day trip to Thorpe Park on Thursday 2nd July 2026. This trip is for those students who are studying a Business, Finance and IT subject for their GCSE or in sixth form.
The itinerary is as follows:

| 8:00am | Depart from Leigh Academy Strood |
| 10:00am (approx.) | Arrival at Thorpe Park |
| 10:30am | Exploration of Park |
| 1:00pm | Meet for Lunch |
| 5:00pm | Departure from Thorpe Park |
| 6:30pm (approx.) | Arrival at Leigh Academy Strood |
Students will have the opportunity to explore and have their own given free time. They will be able to explore the park in small groups. A staff contact number will be distributed should any student become separated. We will be travelling by a bus and minibus to Thorpe Park and back.
The non-refundable cost of the trip is £41.40, this includes the entry fee to the park and travel to and from the park. Payments can be made online via ParentPay.
If you are interested in your child taking part in this trip, please fill in the attached consent form with medical information here by Friday 20th February. Please note that spaces are limited. Once this form has been completed, a payment request will be sent via ParentPay to confirm your child’s place. If the trip becomes oversubscribed, you will be informed and no payment will be taken.
Submitting this form does not commit you to the trip; it is only an expression of interest. However, once payment has been made, it will be non-refundable. If you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact any of the Business & IT Department.
