Subject: Introducing the Leigh Academy Strood Community Ambassador Programme
At Leigh Academy Strood, we believe that education extends far beyond the classroom. A core part of our foundation is building strong community relations and ensuring our students understand the importance of positive engagement as part of their wider curriculum.
We are delighted to introduce our new Community Ambassador initiative. This programme is designed to recognise and reward students who represent our academy with pride and integrity outside of the school gates.
Moving forward, students may be awarded a specialised “Community Ambassador” card when they demonstrate exemplary behaviour, manners, or engagement in numerous local retail establishments. These cards are awarded specifically for “upholding Leigh Academy Strood expectations in our local community”.
We are looking for students who embody our core values in their daily lives:
- Be inquisitive
- Be respectful
- Be resilient
- Be kind
If your child brings home one of these cards, please celebrate this achievement with them. It serves as confirmation that they are acting as a true ambassador for our school, contributing positively to the area we all call home. Please encourage your child to make us aware if they have received a community ambassador card so that we can celebrate their success with them.
