Dear Parents and Carers,
We are thrilled to announce that the Performing Arts Department is offering an exciting trip to Disneyland Paris from 30th March to 2nd April, 2027. This is following the huge success of our 2025 visit where 100% of students said they would recommend and encourage future students to attend.
This trip is designed to give our students a unique look into the professional world of performing arts. Beyond the magic of the parks, students will be exposed to various industry roles—from technical production to live performance—while also gaining the invaluable experience of exploring a new country and culture.
The Itinerary & What’s Included
The total cost of the trip is £945. While we recognise this is a significant investment, the price reflects recent industry inflation and, more importantly, extended time in the theme parks compared to last year.
The cost includes:
- Travel: All transport to and from Disneyland Paris.
- Park Access: Three days in both the Disney Parks.
- Meals: Full board (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner), excluding the outward journey.
- Paris Excursion: A visit to the centre of Paris on our return journey, featuring a river cruise along the Seine.
- Souvenir: A personalised student hoodie for every attendee.
Payment Schedule
If you would like your child to take part in the visit, please make a deposit of £150 on ParentPay. We will contact you on the 2nd of April to confirm your child’s place on the trip, when you will also receive access to all the payments on ParentPay. Places are strictly limited to a maximum of 48 students, these will be allocated on a first come first served basis through ParentPay. All payments are non refundable. We are first offering this trip to the current Performing Arts cohort exclusively before opening the trip to the new PA cohort and then finally all of Year 9 – 12 students across the Academy.
To make the cost manageable, we have outlined a structured payment plan:
| Installment | Amount | Due Date |
| Deposit | £150 | 31st March 2026 |
| Second Payment | £150 | 30th April 2026 |
| 8 Monthly Payments | £75 (each) | Last day of May – Dec 2026 |
| Final Payment | £45 | 31st January 2027 |
| Total | £945 |
Travel Requirements & Documentation
Please take note of the following essential requirements regarding travel documents:
- Passports: Every student must have their own passport. This must be valid for at least six months after our return (until at least the start of November 2027).
- Renewals: If a passport needs renewing, we require the updated details by the end of November 2026.
- Submission: Once your child’s place is confirmed and the full £300 (Deposit + Second Payment) has been paid, please provide the school with a photocopy of their current passport and GHIC card.
Information Evening
We will be hosting a dedicated Parent/Carer and Student Information Session in January 2027 in the Main Hall. During this evening, we will distribute a comprehensive information pack—including the full itinerary, consent forms, and final logistics—and answer any questions you may have.
We believe this will be a transformative experience for our students, blending career inspiration with lifelong memories.
If you have any questions then please do not hesitate to contact lauren.bassett@strood.latrust.org.uk .
Best regards,
The Performing Arts Department
