We are thrilled to announce that the Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Leigh Academy Strood! This is one of our favorite events of the year—a time when the school restaurant transforms into a bustling bookstore and our students get to discover the magic of a new story.
Why Support the Book Fair?
Beyond the excitement of browsing the shelves, the Book Fair plays a vital role in our school community:

- Empowers Choice: Young people are more likely to read when they choose their own books.
- Build’s Home Libraries: It’s a great way to refresh your bookshelf with the latest titles.
- Supports Learning: Extends both written and verbal communication skills that aid their learning in the classroom.

Sending Money to School
If you would like your child to shop for books during the school day, we have a point of sale machine that can accept card payments, (accepted cards include GoHenry, Rooster etc). As we are a cashless school, please understand that we are unable to accept cash.
We can’t wait to see our students’ faces light up as they find their next great adventure.
