Dear Parents/Carers,
Following the Year 11 mock examination series, we will be implementing some set changes in Science, which will take effect from January 2026.
Going forward, all students in Set 1 will be entered for the Higher tier paper, while all students in other sets will be entered for the Foundation tier paper. This decision has been made following the outcomes of the recent mock examinations. A final review will take place after the February mocks to ensure that every student is sitting the tier that is most appropriate to support their success in the Summer examinations.
