ZooNation – Year 9 Students

Dear Parent/Carer,

This year in Dance, our students have been looking at the work of ZooNation, exploring how they revolutionised the UK dance scene. Now, we are delighted to open up to all Year 9 the opportunity to stop watching the screen and actually step into the choreography themselves.

On 3rd March 2026, we are hosting an exclusive Hip Hop workshop led by the company’s own professional dancers.

ZooNation is internationally acclaimed, known for their high-octane storytelling and sold-out runs at Sadler’s Wells and in the West End. This isn’t just a standard Performing Arts lesson; it’s a masterclass with the best in the business! Last year’s Year 9 cohort—from total beginners to experienced performers—unanimously agreed it was the highlight of their term. So don’t let your worries about dance ability get in the way of having a fantastic time! It’s high-energy, it’s loud, and it’s an experience many dancers wait years for. This may be the only time they get to train with a company of this caliber.

The session will take place for one hour during school time and students will be expected to come in in their PE kits for the day. If you wish for your child to take part, please make your non-refundable payment of £5 via Parentpay no later than Monday 23rd February. Tickets would normally cost between £10 – £15). Please be advised that places are limited and that the payment is non-refundable.

We want every student to walk away feeling inspired, confident, and perhaps with a few new moves. Don’t let them miss out on what promises to be an unforgettable day. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours sincerely
