Parent Voice Forum Letter

Dear Parents and Carers,

RE: Parent Voice Forum – Module 4 Forum, Teaching and Learning and MYP.

Thank you very much to all parents and carers who joined us for the Module 3 Parent Voice Forum, which focused on the topic of Behaviour and communication.

The Parent Voice Forum is a vital platform designed to foster a powerful, open partnership between you and the school. Your insights are not just welcome, they are instrumental in helping us collaboratively shape a truly enriching and supportive educational experience for every student.

For our upcoming Module 4 Forum, the central theme will be Teaching and Learning and MYP. We are delighted to be joined by Mr Minshul and Mrs Pryce to discuss these key areas in detail. They will present the academy’s vision and ethos  of teaching and learning and provide a clear understanding of the Middle Years Programme.

Here are the dates for this year’s forums, all of which will run from 18:00 to 19:00 in the Endeavour Centre. **Please drive and park at the back of the school towards the Endeavour centre entrance.

  • Module 4: Tuesday, 31st March 2026 – Teaching and Learning and MYP
  • Module 5: Tuesday, 19th May 2026 – Rewards / Enrichment / Strood in the Community
  • Module 6: Tuesday, 14th July 2026 – Full Review

What to expect from this forum?

We look forward to celebrating our highly successful IB Re-evaluation Report, which commended the strength of our curriculum and school community. Alongside these achievements, we will outline our strategy for fostering a transparent assessment culture; this aims to provide parents and pupils with greater clarity regarding assessment topics and ensure that homework is more effectively geared towards preparing pupils for these key milestones. Finally, we shall share how we are utilising Form Time to embed essential study skills from Year 7 onwards, ensuring our pupils are resilient and well-prepared long before they reach their Year 11 and Post-16 examinations.
